Milly Clutch

This bag started out as my muslin for the Suzannah Clutch. I liked the direction it was taking, so decided to finish it. If I went out more often I'd probably keep it, it's perfect for putting a phone, camera and a wallet into . . . but a little too glitzy for my everyday life.

V-day Play

First treasury I've gotten in a while. Didn't really expect to get one, then when I did I panicked and could not think of a theme. With Valentines Day right around the corner I figured why not go pink?

One of my friends is having a baby shower in a couple of weeks and I thought I might like to get her a baby sling. . . I found this one on Etsy. . .
It looks like a really bad idea. . . look at that poor little blue foot hanging out.

New Year's Resolution

My new years resolution is going to be to either build the infamous "breakfast nook" or to build a porch off the back. . .

I'd really like to get the breakfast nook done on one hand. . . and on the other I'd like to build the porch so that plants can start growing up on it. . .

On the other hand(I have three, duh), I'm pretty sure if I went to the lumber yard and gave the guy behind the counter all of my money and said, "Howdy, Mister. Me and my buddies have to build a new clubhouse,(Little Rascals)" that all I would get would be a toothpick.

*Shrugs* What can you do. . . Maybe craigslist can help me out. . . now if only I had a truck. . .

First week at work. . .

I was walking out of the building at work the other night, when it dawned on me that I was completely alone, in a dark parking lot, late at night. The voices of my mother and grandmother began ringing in my head about how I was never to get myself in a situation like this. I had just gotten done with a mini-draping demo and was carrying my quarter-size form... that's when things started to get weird...

Snug as a bug. . .

So happy to be home after my lovely road trip with the dogs and husband!

After looking over my photos from Christmas, I've decide on a winner. Jackie gets the prize hands down for being the most excited person (except for Sam of course. . . but I didn't have my camera in Columbia)

Relieved!

The clutch I made for a customer made it to Australia without any bumbs, I was so scared that neither of us would ever see it again. Yes!
